Home Again + Back to School

Taking a picture of Aaron taking a picture in California.

If you've been following my Instagram you know we spent the last 3 weeks in our minivan exploring the west coast. Aaron took over 600 pictures (plus the couple hundred I took with my iPhone) so if you think you're going to be spared having to look at a bazillion vacation pictures you are sadly very wrong. But all the good ones are on Aaron's computer and I honestly have no idea how to work that thing so I have to wait until he puts them somewhere I can easily access (aka my bff Dropbox). I'm sure you can hardly wait.

Hiking in British Columbia

We got back late Thursday night and the past few days have been a whirlwind of unpacking, laundry, and back to school shopping. The thing about spending your entire summer traveling is that it goes by CRAZY fast and there's a sort of weird feeling like you didn't actually have a summer? Like, where were our days of laying on the couch watching cartoons all morning and then eating popsicles for lunch before going swimming? Did I even get a chance to complain about the heat??

Monterey Bay Aquarium

We got home and immediately had to go sort through the dregs of Target's back-to-school section to find composition books and pronged folders before heading to Meet the Teacher night. I've got big time deer-in-the-headlights eyes going on over here, people.

Ready or not, however, school starts tomorrow and my boys are stoked. Just me and the Caboose all day, every week day, for the foreseeable future. What on earth am I supposed to do with myself??
