I got these shoes for a steal at Last Chance. I loved them at first sight but probably would have passed them over a few weeks ago since they "aren't me." But since I've been doing my reading and reassessing my style I thought, "I love them, they're crazy affordable, I'm doing it." And I am happy. I'm on the lookout for more cool laces for them! Such an easy (and cheap) way to add something extra to an outfit. I want to try some neon next. Why not?
A plain t-shirt and jeans that fit well can make a seemingly blah outfit look amazing. And you do it well :-) Also, those shoes really do put it over the top!

ReplyDeleteHow fun! I love taking a chance on something I think at the time is too far out and not me. Those are invariably the pieces of my closet that I get THE MOST compliments on. It's amazing how the people around us sometimes know our style better than we do and are able to coax us out of our shells and encourage more of this authentic dressing.
