Hanes V-Neck, F21 jeans and bangles, Boutique 9 Demarko Bootie (from Last Chance)
I kind of feel like making jeans and a tee look special is the holy grail of mom-hood. For me, some bangles, big hair, and awesome shoes just about does it. It's a simple outfit but I felt like a million bucks.

I got these shoes for a steal at Last Chance. I loved them at first sight but probably would have passed them over a few weeks ago since they "aren't me." But since I've been doing my reading and reassessing my style I thought, "I love them, they're crazy affordable, I'm doing it." And I am happy. I'm on the lookout for more cool laces for them! Such an easy (and cheap) way to add something extra to an outfit. I want to try some neon next. Why not?

A plain t-shirt and jeans that fit well can make a seemingly blah outfit look amazing. And you do it well :-) Also, those shoes really do put it over the top!

  2. the shoes, the shoes. the icing on the cake. LOVE

  3. I need to get more brave! I stop at jeans -- a white t-shirt and flip flops.

  4. I love it! Those shoes are awesome, but I know I'd never be brave enough to wear them.

  5. you definitely make jeans and a tee look awesome!! so cute!!

  6. Love this cute & casual look! Those shoes are fabulous :)

  7. How are you so adorable all the time?!? Love the shoes!!

  8. How fun! I love taking a chance on something I think at the time is too far out and not me. Those are invariably the pieces of my closet that I get THE MOST compliments on. It's amazing how the people around us sometimes know our style better than we do and are able to coax us out of our shells and encourage more of this authentic dressing.

  9. I'm loving the last two pictures. You look so model-like! :) And you said it made you self conscious to take pictures outside! Boy how you've grown! hahaha
