Charlotte Russe coat (similar)and boots (similar), flower and skirt (similar) by me, tank from Last Chance, necklace from Old Navy, belt from a skirt I bought at JCPenney |
This prompt was difficult if only because we've had so very few coat days lately. I did mine out of order and ended up doing this one dead last, just waaaiting for a cold day. This day still didn't call for a coat but oh well. I put a flower on it and I wore it and I liked it.
Link up your outfit below or, as always, go link it up in the Flickr group!
Can I just say - there are so many things I love about this outfit! That coat is SO cute - and I love how you added the flower - and that yellow skirt looks lovely on you :)

I just really love that yellow skirt with the green on top and the belt. You look super cute!

lace, etc.
The navy blue coat is gorgeous against your mustard skirt! I had to skip this challenge, it feels like spring here and I had to ditch my coat altogether!

You look so pretty!
ReplyDeleteOne - your niece is adorable! And so is your sister for dressing her like that. Unless you niece already chooses her own clothes.
ReplyDeleteTwo - I swear I did this one, but I didn't get a chance to photograph it. I've decided good photos or none at all.
Third - I LOVE the primary colors in your outfit! That flower is the perfect color for that coat.
North Meets South
I love that jacket, especially with the yellow skirt! Navy + Yellow = Nummy! Your hair is gorgeous too!
ReplyDeleteKayla this is simply adorable! I love the sailor-y feel of this jacket with that yellow skirt! (And yeah--what is with the non-coat weather?)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I really love the blue with yellow.
ReplyDeleteLoved this prompt! (Though I loved it even more that it was warm enough in the midwest for jackets, rather than winter coats...) I will definitely be trying more variations of the coat dress-up in the future.
ReplyDeleteOh jeeze, that coat is so cute! I love the color and the buttons, and the flower just adds to it all. :)
ReplyDeleteSkipping this one because, well, none of my coats fit my belly and booty anymore and I'm too much of a Scrooge to buy one for only one month of use, ha ha!
Your tank top is sooo cute! I'm loving tribal prints these days.

I am loving your hair! It looks great long!
ReplyDeleteI love your skirt. The yellow pops with the orange flower on your coat.
ReplyDeleteLove that coat!
ReplyDeleteI love your coat! I had to skip this day because the only way I could've dressed up my coat was add fur to it and I did that yesterday! And today was so nice! 50 degrees! I didn't really need a "coat". I just wore my leather jacket, which I surely couldn't dress up either. Sigh.
