Winter tends to be a time of blacks, grays and browns. My trips into public places have been awash in people clad in dark neutrals. It fits the weather and, sometimes, our moods, but bright colors have their place in winter too!
For tomorrow I want you to add bright color to your winter wardrobe. It can be all over color or a small splash- whatever works for you.

Hahaha, this one will be easy for me. I adore bright colors, and my whole closet is full of them. The other day at church, I looked around me at the other young mothers my age and thought, "Did I miss the only-darks-and-neutrals memo? They must all think I'm crazy wearing such bright colors in the dead of winter." And then I realized I didn't care; winter is gray and depressing enough without making your wardrobe match.
ReplyDeleteOrange and teal are my favorite accent colors of choice these days. A little bright color can go a long way when it's dreary outside.

ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what everyone came up with. These inspirations are a great combination of little splashes of brights and a whole saturation of them! Awesome :)
