Challenge 2.0
Alrighty lovelies, I'm trying to get my brain back into Challenge mode. I know a lot of people were hoping for a winter edition and I'm starting to work on it. It will probably be in January or February
I DO know that the next round won't be 21 days. I'm thinking 2 weeks with the weekend off (so ten days total). I think that's long enough to still be a challenge but not so long that people start hating me for roping them into this crazy thing. But it means I need a new title! 10 Day Challenge sounds kind of lame to me (and yet 21 Day Challenge did not?). Challenge 2.0 is my working title but it's kind of geeky. Suggestions are welcome.
I'm trying to decide if I want to do sponsors again. I'm sort of inclined toward it since I think that prizes give that little extra bit of motivation (plus drawing winners last time was so much fun for me). I'd definitely have to simplify my methods if I do go that route. Tracking points nearly killed me last time since I was only expecting like a quarter of the participation that I got.
If you or someone you know might be interested in sponsoring the challenge, would you contact me? For sponsors who provide a prize for a randomly selected winner I give sidebar space for one month plus a spotlight post in the week leading up to the challenge. E-mail me for blog stats (my traffic sky-rocketed during the last challenge so it's a great time to get your ad in front of some eyeballs).
The last challenge really was SO awesome with such great participation. I'm really hoping this next round will be just as fun! I've been going back through and reading all your wonderful suggestions from the last round and I think the next one is going to be that much more awesome because of your feedback. I'm excited!

Can't wait!!
ReplyDeleteI am EXCITED!! the 21 day challenge inspired me so much and I am needing that inspiration again!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited! I wasn't able to participate last time because I was moving, but I am TOTALLY doing it this time!!!
ReplyDeleteI am excited to participate in this one. I did actually do the OTI last week, but I failed to have a picture taken. Sad, I know.
ReplyDeleteExcited! Count me in :)
ReplyDeleteI am a new comer to your blog, but just spent the last couple of minutes look at some posts from your last challenge and it looks like a lot of fun! I'm excited!
ReplyDeleteOoooh how fun! I'm in!
ReplyDeleteWell, you know me. I can't resist a challenge. I'm all over it! :)
ReplyDeleteyay! excited for this, love the new format!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to participate in the challenge again! I happen to love the name Challenge 2.0, but I'm also a geek so maybe that's why. Also, I would love weekend's off. That was the hardest part of last time around. Maybe even 3 weeks with weekends off, so 15 days total? Challenge 15?
ReplyDeleteyey!
ReplyDeleteWe had so much fun. I loved how it helped me revive some existing clothes.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to it! Our Aussie Summer is shaping up more like Winter, so I'm in!
ReplyDeleteHooray! Just when I feel like I'm getting into a winter style rut...
ReplyDeleteWinter Wear Challenge?
ReplyDeleteYay so excited!
ReplyDeleteNice!
ReplyDeleteAs for names, what about something with X, the Roman numeral for 10? X Challenge? XC? Challenge X? Not sure about this, but I'm sure you can run with it.
To jog any creative juices, phrases with the word 10:
Base 10
Perfect 10
Top 10
10-4
10 commandments
It's such a coincidence that you are thinking of doing a 'winter challenge', I have just started using your prompts from the 21 day challenge as I am only new to blogging! Now I am stuck. I don't know whether to continue with the "out of date" 21 day challenge or wait for the Challenge 2.0 (my favourite name btw)?!
ReplyDeleteSounds cool anyway,
Say
This is great, I want to do it!
ReplyDeleteI want to participate!! :D Can't wait!!!!!! <3
