Freckles in April: Froggy

Froggy

Blazer from church swap, shirt by me, gap jeans, F21 bangles, heels from Marshalls (they were brown- I painted them neon pink)

This is the outfit I chose for my "What are you wearing?" interview that I posted about last week. Did you happen to see Ashley and Angela's interviews? Lovely girlies, those two.

I've been really sick this week. AGAIN. Dark under eye circles and chalky skin mean that I've been avoiding cameras and all reflective surfaces. I'm kind of scary right now.

Yesterday I had to get a cavity filled (just so you know, trying to cough while someone is drilling in your mouth isn't as fun as it sounds) and when I got home the kids had destroyed my house. Aaron swears he was keeping an eye on them but considering half our backyard ended up in my living room I have my doubts.

To recap: I sound like a frog, I got a tooth drilled, I spent hours yesterday taking the outside back where it belongs while being froggy and freshly drilled. Childless people, you may now make your comments about dodged bullets.

Speaking of my little hurricanes, my sweet Baby 2 is 18 months old today. Which somehow feels too old, too young, and just right all at the same time. Kids really mess with your sense of time.

  1. Love the outfit. Those shoes are FUN!

Sorry you're feeling crappy... super moms always manage to be sick and save the world (or at least the household) all at the same time. No worries... you're in good shape. Especially since you had time to fit in a filling...

  2. What a wonderful outfit! I loved the tee after seeing your tutorial, and it looks great paired with that chic red blazer. Very casual, but chic and polished at the same time.

So sorry to hear you are sick. Lots of activity like that just doesn't help when you are on the mend. Best of luck and get better soon!

  3. Haha, I love how you linked to Erica with that comment! =)

I'm sorry you've been feeling so crappy. I hope you get to feeling better soon, so you can slave away after the kids while being healthy, instead of doing it while sick...

I adore that outfit you're wearing! I can't wait to try that tutorial. =)

  5. oh yick! I hope you feel better really, really soon.

Julia and bebe 2 are exactly 5 months apart...who knew? Although I kind of bet she would dwarf him in at least the head size department.

Simon was 'watching' Julia the other day...promptly fell asleep and let her pull down and break an entire mug of coffee for she and Lucy to lap up together off of the freshly mopped floor. You needed to know.

  7. I still can't believe you have two children. But, I'm sorry you had to take the earth inside your house to it's home all while feeling yucky! I wish you better!
