Erica, Amy and I are starting a new series today called Open to Interpretation. Every couple weeks one of us picks an inspiration picture and we all blog our take on it. Oldest got to pick first (ahem) so I chose this lovely number-

From Pinterest. Strangely not linked to an original source. |
So here's my interpretation-

ATL top, Charlotte Russe booties (recent), skirt by me, necklace by me |
My instinct was to go with my solid yellow circle skirt but this fabric has been sitting in a pile in my sewing room for ages and I've been dying to use it for a skirt. When I put it all together I loved this outfit. I even got brave with my makeup! AND I got a super creepy up-close picture of my eyeball. Just for you:

You're welcome. |
As someone who never ventures beyond smudgy eyeliner, this was A Big Deal. I was very proud of myself. Look at me! I'm growing! And trying new things!
