Yes, just the front tuck. I tried the full tuck. I did! It just looks so off on me. I think it's because A. I've had 2 children and B. these shorts are pretty low rise (as are quite a few of my pants) and the tuck looks better with something a little higher. Maybe? I don't know.
Today's outfit inspiration comes from Liz of Say Yes to Hoboken who posted about shorts paired with slouchy shirts. I saw her post and was like, "HEY! I have those things!" Totally wish I had that blazer from the upper right outfit though. And that hat...

I love your casual, chic look today!
ReplyDeleteYou look pretty adorable in your Tuck It In outfit...but yes, I would love to get my hands on that blazer and hat as well! Thanks for hosting! You've made my days a little brighter. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a great outfit on you. So summery looking.
ReplyDeleteWe ended up with very similar outfits today, and I didn't even see your post before getting dressed. I must be on the right track, because you look fantastic.
ReplyDeleteHurray for the front tucking! I am such an inveterate un-tucker that that is generally the most tucked-in I'll ever be.
ReplyDeleteI love your simple chic look! I linked up with my oh so uninspiring tee and jeans. =) Sick babies make even the most fashionable feel very uninspired, ya know? lol
ReplyDeleteI have trouble with "the tuck" too. I usually end up going with the half-tuck. Obviously it's too casual for work (for me.) You look great!
ReplyDeleteI like the way you tucked your shirt
ReplyDeleteI think I have too much tucked in front
Off to correct my "tuck in"
love this look and really like the half tuck, but don't know if people would just stare and think I forgot to finish tucking after peeing or something
you know not everyone is a fashion savvy as we are!!

i just found this challenge and linked up my outfit. how fun! i can't wait to see more challenge posts. :)
ReplyDeleteI like that look on you :) I also like the looks you posted. If tucking, I am a fan of the partial tuck. Being from the era I am from, I have tucking issues, so I have to slowly break myself back into tucking.
ReplyDeleteYou look GORGEOUS here! I love your hair like that.

You look great! I wish I could look that good! I just love how simple it is... I try to do the button up but I feel like I should be bowling then! :S
ReplyDeleteI love the front tuck!
ReplyDeleteYou look fabulous! The half-tuck looks dumb on me, but maybe I'll try it again in the future!
ReplyDeleteInadvertantly almost copied you today :) Know what you mean about a full tuck, not friendly to a tummy that has housed two babies!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Darned thing is is that I've fulfilled all of these challenges so far, but in the past so I've already used the pictures on my blog. And I'm guessing that doesn't count.
ReplyDeleteAnd I would totally do new outfits, but my photographer is MIA a lot lately, so I haven't been able to do as many outfit pictures as I'd like.
ReplyDeleteI do this tuck aswell! Love this post!
ReplyDeleteGreat tuck! I've been doing this tuck all the time recently. It feels better once you get used to it :)
ReplyDeleteYou're too pretty! I love those shorts. I did a half tuck too, it feels much less stuffy than a full tuck!
ReplyDeleteI think you're right about a higher waist, unless you've got a washboard stomach you want to showcase (not me), I think it'd be hard to pull off tucked in with low rise pants. I like your half tuck look. I'm afraid I'd feel like my mom would show up and start tucking in the rest :)
ReplyDeleteYou should go visit Charleston in that outfit. You remind me of all the cute ladies on the beach, who have lots of style (and money). :)
