Freckles in April: Belted

Belted

ATL shirt, Gap skirt (thrifted), thrifted belt, Steve Madden shoes, F21 bracelets, old necklace

It was super windy when we went out to take pictures. I was really lucky we got this one because most of them looked like this-

This belt was a crazy find. I found it's yellow twin about a year before. It's adjustable, with an elastic back and a plastic-y buckle. I thought the yellow one was a total one of a kind find and THEN I found its red sister. It was clearly fate and I had to take it home but I'm still kind of amazed that I had that kind of luck at Goodwill. So weird.

(ETA: Jaime figured out that these are baseball belts. Which would explain why I found them in 2 colors so easily!)

And yes, I should have come up with something more interesting for this one but...I didn't. I'm not brave with my belting, I just own a lot of $1 belts.

  1. I still don't own a red belt! Every time I'm thrifting, I look for one and all I can find are ones that look really dated. =/ I love yours and the patriotic touch it gives your outfit!

  5. This is great. The red belt takes what would otherwise be kind of a boring outfit, and really gives it an eye-catching punch. Now I want a red belt.

Also, I hope this isn't a cheat... but I did day 3 and day 5 prompts in one outfit. But I'm nothing if not a rule follower :)
