My closet used to have a handful of set rotating outfits. Most of my clothes went specifically with other items and I refused to try them with anything else. Mostly I was too scared or too lazy to try mixing it up. Then, I did Kendi's 30 for 30 and realized that my wardrobe had far more possibilities than I was giving it credit for.
So the prompt for Monday's outfit is to pick an item to remix during this challenge. It can be any article of clothing except a pair of jeans (sorry :) and you're going to wear it at least 3 times without repeating outfits. There's a bonus point in it for you if you can squeeze in a 4th time!
I know all you who just did the most recent 30 for 30 are groaning. Sorry :)
Some examples of items that I get a fair amount of wear out of:

White H&M shirt |

Target maxi dress |

JCPenney skirt |
Choose your item, get yourself all put together, take a picture and upload it to the Flickr group or blog it and add your link here tomorrow!
I'm thinking I might actually give this challenge a whirl. Sounds fun :)
ReplyDeleteI chose a shirt that I don't wear very often... trying to explore the possibilities with it to get more wear out of it!
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be so much fun!
ReplyDeletethe white button down is definitely a great versitle item. It's so easy to remix things, it's forcing yourself to do it that's the hard part, haha.

I will have to think hard about this one. I was hoping to start off the challenge with a post-baby body, but today is my due date and I'm STILL pregnant. So what can I wear tomorrow that will still work in a week or two after I've had the baby? Hopefully I will be wearing a hospital gown tomorrow and it will be a moot point, haha!
