Wearing DEB shirt, Wet Seal skirt, Steve Madden sandals, Target watch, bangle (gift) |
My wildest dreams have come true.
For $16.50! At Wet Seal of all places. I walked by yesterday after taking my kids to the splash pad and saw this striped skirt on a dummy in the window. And then we all lived happily ever after.
Also, the dark circles under my eyes are courtesy of Baby 2 waking up at FOUR IN THE MORNING. And this was after I was up until midnight dealing with a wet bed courtesy of Stinky and his inability to wake up when he needs to pee. So, in sum, I got 4 hours of sleep. I wasn't real pleasant to be around for most of the day. There are a lot of things I miss about my pre-child life but getting sufficient sleep on a regular basis is the big one. And not having to share my food. I've started hiding in the laundry room whenever I need a snack. Otherwise I'll get 2 bites and have to give up the rest.
Demanding little dictators.
Ha! I'm not laughing at you. I'm laughing with you. =) Let's just say I can relate!
ReplyDeleteKnow what else is funny? I just finished typing a post (it'll go up later with the pictures) called Stripedy Stripes. Then I go to my blogger dashboard and see you were thinking the same thing! =)
You are a total cutie pie ( is that okay to say) giggle. Love the post! Hugs
ReplyDeleteP.S> didn't notice any dark circles :-)
I loved this blog post. The bed wetting story was really funny but it also made me feel bad for you being so tired! Hang in there! I grew up in Phoenix and I really love reading your blog and seeing your photos. It makes me miss living there.
ReplyDeleteI had convinced my kids that my snacks had vegetables hidden in them and and were are yucky. (The don't know that the black sharpie M, for mom, on the boxes was put on by me when I put groceries away - not by the nice people at Publix who were trying to help kids avoid yucky mommy veggie filled snacks.)
ReplyDeleteLOVE the stripe skirt. Way to rock it.
ReplyDeleteAnd you look beautiful. And I hate bed wetting in the night scenarios too but you look Fab.
AH! I love love love the skirt!!!! And seriously...DEB still exists? I used to shop there as a teen. And I have not seen one around in roughly a decade. Or 2.
ReplyDeleteBTW - I hide when I snack. For real.
That skirt is AMAzing! LOVE it. I totally feel you about hiding in the closet. Though, I'm past those days and into the days where shopping at Costco is the only way to keep food around the house with two almost teens.
