Wearing Thrifted shirt and shoes, skirt from a dress I chopped up, belt from another skirt, necklaces from church achievement stuff |
As a teenager I intensely disliked the color red. I didn't think it was flattering on me and it caused me no end of annoyance that our high school colors were red and blue and, for some reason, they tended to use red on all the school shirts. I looked fabulous in blue, people! Couldn't our senior shirts be BLUE??
I've come around on red. It's what I reach for when I'm bored or uninspired or wanting to distract from the fact that I'm not wearing makeup (ahem).
Also, say hello to my summer hair. This is pretty much what you'll be getting for the next 4 or 5 months. We're definitely seeing 100+ around here lately. Usually by now I'm quietly wishing for death but this year it isn't really bothering me. Like at all. I'm not sure what's going on with that but I'm not complaining.
