|Aaron and Baby Stink in 2008|
I know I don't talk much about Aaron on here...our marriage just feels too personal to put out there on the blog. But I really like him and he really likes me and together we make some pretty darn cute babies.
And he's such a good daddy to those sweet babies. Our kids adore Aaron. Both of them started saying "dada" MONTHS before they condescended to call me anything (ungrateful little...)
The best part about Aaron working from home is that he occasionally takes a break in the middle of the day just to chase them around or play trains. They live for that. Now that Baby 2 can open doors he has realized he can go visit daddy any time he wants (which is super awesome for Aaron when he's on conference calls) and Stinky will inevitably follow Baby 2 in and then I have to pull them both out kicking and screaming several times a day. But I can't blame them for wanting to be near him. I like being near him too.
And then there's my dad. He was the kind of dad who did this:

He worked long days doing construction then came home and played with us. And now he works long days doing real estate and then comes home and plays with his grandsons. We all love him to pieces (especially Stinky, who has always had a special grandpa bond). He will always be one of my favorite people.

And, of course, a little shout-out to my father-in-law, who was and is a wonderful dad and an amazingly loving and patient grandpa who sits at the piano and lets my kids plunk away as much as they want.
Happy Father's Day!
