Makana is a new bloggy friend. Over the past few weeks we've been bonding through email over shared Hawaii connections (we both hiked Maunawili Falls on our honeymoons!) and fashion love. I think she's darling and has a great sense of humor (her pics for today made me laugh out loud).
Well howdy ya'all
yessum, I am the Momma-Kana from Texas is for Lovers. California born, Hawaiian-bred mommy-of-1.
I am so tickled to be here. I first met Kayla in Nursery. She stole my animal crackers. It's been a sore spot for many years but I am ready to forgive and strut what my momma gave me as fashion blogger for today.
(ok, so maybe we haven't even really met in person but I am not admitting anything)
For me, how I look plays a part in how I feel. I know, it is shallow. But if you feel that way too go ahead and raise your hands. Hmm... quite a few of you. I KNEW IT!
But it is also fun right? Being able to know that you look great? As a mommy and as a mormon, my to-do list is very long and for me it starts somewhere around 6am and ends around... oh, NEVER!
And I would not trade it for anything. Well, maybe a Bazillion dollars so don't tempt me kay?
I like to mix and match and I like to spend money but I can't. Hence the re-mixing and attempts at sewing. But one thing I do know how to do is work it. Yes, WORK IT! You need to feel confident in who and what you are. And by smiling and having good posture, you can wear about anything and look great. Well, that is my theory at least. So, here are some fun pictures. Enhoy
Wide leg jeans
A purse or two you LOVE
Some fun head accessories
and a must as a mom in Texas (read constant humidity of 60% or more)
light weight, MODEST and washable clothes
I love plato's closet, making old jeans into shorts and wearing tall shoes. So, what are YOUR must have's?
I am really honestly curious.
