30 for 30: Day 21

Wearing # 12, 14, 21, 30

Can I just give a shout out to laser hair removal? I'm 4 treatments in (out of 6) and I pretty much don't have to think about shaving my legs anymore. If I want to wear a skirt I just throw it on and go. It used to be like, "I'd love to wear this today but I don't have time to shave. Jeans it is." Not anymore, my friends.

That was the best. Groupon. ever.

Speaking of Groupon, I got a really awesome one last week that I'm going to use as a secret surprise date activity with Aaron on Friday. We don't get to go on dates alone very often (Baby 2 came with us for Japanese food last week. It's a little harder to feel the love when you're trying to save your yakisoba from grabby 10 month old hands) so I'm really really excited.

Plus, it's pretty relaxing to go to public places when you don't have to worry about keeping small people from touching things or running into traffic or stuff like that. Going to the grocery store alone these days is akin to getting a foot rub. I can only imagine what I'm going to feel like after dinner AND a special activity without kids. That's practically a spa day right there.

  1. Laser Hair Removal? You will never shave again? Or how does this work?

  2. "Going to the grocery store alone these days is akin to a getting a foot rub." I'm keeping that one.

  3. Angela- That's pretty much the size of it. They zap you with a laser and the (dark) hair stops growing. I still have the lighter, finer peach fuzz, but most of the darker stuff is gone. It's awesome.

  4. I love groupon! Because my husband is in law school and Manhattan is costly, it's the only way we are able to eat out. I also like scoutmob. You don't have to shell out the money upfront.
