I don't remember where I first saw these shoes but I find myself CONSTANTLY perusing this Etsy shop.
She hand paints shoes, usually with her signature peacocks, but there are a few florals as well. Hers are marketed (and priced) as wedding shoes but I would LOVE to try doing it myself. I've been on the lookout for a good pair of painting shoes ever since (even had a dream about it once. Is that weird?). How fun would it be to have a custom painted set of heels to give a boost to a basic skirt?

That is genius. Do you just use like fabric markers or something? I'd be too freaked out about messing up :(

crazy! fun idea.
ReplyDeleteCool! Could you get a pair of those to-dye shoes they always have at Payless? Last time I was in there I was a bit impressed with their collection. Just a thought...
ReplyDeleteWow, those are beautiful! I love the idea of this! There is a pair of shoes on Modcloth that I am dying over but would also be such an easy DIY... I have been on the lookout for white heels at the thrift store in order to do it but can NEVER seem to find any lately. I haven't given up yet.
